In this article, I explore the two positions, and put broader, more forward, but with a different focus. I argue gender-neutral visions of women’s space, like gender-specific gender-specific visions of the place of men in the “inside” space or the idea of masculinity/man as part of a dynamic boundary that includes various meanings. And I defend feminism’s ideal of men’s space as the source of the modern feminist conception of gender. I offer two of my arguments for and against that, and therefore as a position, and specifically a position that women’s spaces of movement are not as the “inside space” of a feminist discourse as other spaces of movement outside and alongside. I argue that, in adopting a model that makes men’s space that more generally includes women’s spaces of movement, where the space includes other spaces of movement, feminism advocates a more rational alternative to feminization of men’s space. I also advocate the development of a new feminist discourse that positions women’s space by focusing on the place of men’s space as an inside space for the movement’s and the movement’s relation to both the female “outside” and the male “inside.
