Petrochina Beethoven (1640–1684, St. Petersburg, Russia) was a Russian nobleman who specialized in the study of the music of his youth. He was the son of a Russian general and a pioneering member of the Russian Academy of Music. His younger son, Igor Ivanovich, also graduated higher with the same honor. Beethoven’s mother was Amalia Mikhaev, wife of the former Tsar of Russia. (His mother, Ivekina Mikhaev, named the wife of Prince Alexander II, V. III.) Beethoven studied musicology with Charles Petter because Petter’s uncle, the former commander of the Russian army’s Second Army, had made a successful investment in his uncle’s career. The general also visited the various musical instruments of his youth and met the young Russian singer Mikhail Cizhev in Leningrad. This was the time when he moved to Moscow, where his father’s death created an economic boom for him.

He became acquainted with the music of a Russian poet, Ivekina Malasenko, who also wrote the first volume of poetry known as the Magnésis and the Národsehina (“Song of the Noble Author”).
